Midwife services
I have been a certified midwife since 2019 and work in a hospital’s maternity ward. Since 2021, I have also been working as a freelance midwife, providing care with a lot of heart and empathy during pregnancy and the early days as a new family at home.
Currently, I primarily offer services in birth preparation, postnatal care, and postnatal recovery.
It is very important to me that even non-German-speaking women and families receive quality care, which is why I offer all my services in English as well.

The health insurance fund covers the costs of postpartum care in the first 56 days after the birth.
-
For first-time mothers, premature births, twins or caesarean births: up to 16 visits.

For multiple births: up to 10 visits.
Compensation for stand-by duty
For postnatal care, the midwife ensures her availability from the time you leave the hospital until the end of the postnatal period. This includes availability and the organisation of a suitable replacement in the event of an unavailability or absence.
The Swiss Association of Midwives has set an on-call fee of CHF 150 for this, which is charged directly to the midwife providing care.
